Canada Express Entry

Here is good news for all migrants who wish to emigrate to Canada – Canada Express Entry! Canada has been among the busiest countries as far as immigration is concerned. Since the percentage of migration to Canada has shot up in the past few years, Canada will be implementing a new management system to meet the current immigration needs.

Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) will be launching a new electronic immigration processing system called the Express Entry In January 2015. As per this new programme, there will be more opportunities for employers as well as skilled immigrants looking for employment and permanent residency in Canada.

Express Entry will allow the CIC and the Job Bank to recruit, assess and select skilled immigrants and provide them employment under federal economic immigration programs.

Let us help you understand the whole procedure of Canada’s Express Entry.

STEP 1

  • Create your Express Entry Profile and attach your Professional profile with it
  • Register yourself with the Job Bank which is responsible for registration and self promotion to employers
  • Get accepted into the Express Entry Pool like other applicants like yourself

STEP 2

  • Once selected, you will receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA)
  • Now you can apply for permanent residency online

How Does Canada Express Entry work?

  • Foreign candidates who want t migrate to Canada as a skilled worker should submit their Express Entry profile online
  • Potential Candidates who meet the requirements gain entrance into the Express Entry Pool
  • The CIC and PTs have the access to all the candidates present in the pool and will do the selection accordingly
  • Candidates like you will be intimidated when they should start promoting themselves to employers

Job Bank requires the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) application to coordinate with the job postings. In case you want to opt for private sector jobs, your LMIA application will require a separate Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) process.

Why opt for Canada Express Entry?

Still can’t make up your mind why opt for Canada Express Entry? Here are a few pointers to help you make up your mind.

  • Canadian Government is working along with PTs and Employers to enhance the economic immigration in Canada
  • The Job Bank connects the Canadian Employers with the Express Entry Pool where potential candidates get direct contact with the employers which increases your chances to get selected
  • The permanent residency process will go on fast track if the Express Entry candidates already have a valid job offer or PT nomination
  • CIC is now allowed to select candidates as per their potential rather than selecting those first in line. (Which means, the more talented you are, higher are the stakes on your behalf)
  • The Processing time reduces to 6 months or less
  • For employers, it gets easier for them to find candidates
  • Employer’s LMIA requirements for advertising will be simplified by linking Job Bank and LMIA

What happens when I receive a job offer?

  • When an employer selects you, you will be offered an ITA for permanent residency
  • You will benefit from the Express Entry as the processing time gets reduced to 6 months or even less than that
  • Potential candidates with an ITA have 60 days to apply for PR under the following immigration programmes.

–  Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)

–  Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)

–  Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

–  Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)

Doesn’t that clear all your doubts? Let’s start processing your visa by just filling in the FREE VISA ASSESSMENT form and our experts will get in touch with you.
